Master/slave dialectic,
as promised:
Certainly, the fear and
supplication that characterize
the ÒslaveÓ half of the
dialectic are admirable, and certainly
they better equip one to
learn and develop than the ÒmasterÓ
half (good luck
sublating with that attitude,
babe), but any scheme
in which it is
preferable to be the slave than the master is
so obviously (and
offensively!) flawed that I can only
roll my eyes when people
bring it up.
