Ice sculptors and tattoo
artists are made, not born.
How do people end up in
liminally creative jobs like that? Anyone with
enough skill to succeed
in a either craft could easily do real sculpture or
rendering, and probably
to more accurate results. The decision to make
art in ice, or on skin,
seems like a clever conceptual project by someone
getting a BFA, not the
rational choice of someone trying to make money.
